Grilled stuffed crab (Ong Pou Na)

Grilled stuffed crab is an important dish for anyone who is missing Laos

Ingredients

  • 15 crabs
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped spring onion
  • 2 teaspoons of chili flakes or 1 tablespoon of chopped green chilies
  • ½ teaspoon of salt (add more when using an egg)
  • 1 egg (additionally)

Method

  • Wash the crab and remove the oil from the crust. 
  • Pound the crab meat and mix it with the crab oil, salt, and spring onion
  • Wash the crust thoroughly and put the crab meat mixture into the crust. 
  • Grill or stream the crusts for 10-15 minutes before they are ready to eat.
