Spicy frogs with holy basil (Phut Ka Phao kob)

Delicious frogs stir with fragrant and benefit from holy basil such as stomachache, etc.

Ingredients

  • 5 frogs
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 8-10 chilies
  • 1 cup of chopped holy basil
  • 1 cup of chopped spring onion
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • ½ cup of water

Method

  • Cut the frogs into pieces of 2-3 cm and put the pieces into a bowl. 
  • Add the salt, the soy sauce, and the oyster sauce into the bowl and mix it with the frog. 
  • Pound the garlic and the chilies. Chop the holy basil. 
  • Heat the pan and add the vegetable oil for stirring the garlic cloves. Then, add the chilies and the pieces of frogs. Stir it for 4-5 minutes until the frogs are soft.
  • Add the water and the basil and spring onions. 
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes and taste until you have the desired taste.
  • Transfer to dish the a plate for serving.
