Like many farmers, he relied on traditional farming practices and learned through experience.<\/p>\n<p>In 2004-2005, with support from the Helvetas organic agriculture project, Mr. Khamphou established a organic garden at his home. Through hands-on learning and continuous practice, he developed skills in organic farming and sharing his knowledge with other farmers, earning the trust and respect of his community and becoming a local leader in organic agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>The project also helped establish the Non-Tae Organic Agriculture Production Group in 2006, which started with just 7 households. As demand for organic products grew, more farmers joined the group. To maintain quality, the Department of Agriculture conducts random inspections every two months.<\/p>\n<p>Although the Helvetas project ended in 2021, the Non-Tae Organic Agriculture Production Group continues to grow independently. Mr. Khamphou&#8217;s journey shows how continuous learning, strong leadership, and community cooperation can create lasting change and inspire to
