A resident of Xaythany district in Vientiane, Mrs Keomany, has been\u00a0raising chickens to sell eggs to customers in Vientiane for 10 years. She said\u00a0she was very proud and happy that she took this opportunity because she\u00a0earns at least 4 million kip to 5 million kip a month for her family, while her\u00a0husband also\u00a0works in the fields to add to their overall income.\u00a0She said the chickens in her farm produce 130 trays of eggs a day, and\u00a0each tray contains 30 eggs. She can sell each tray for 18,000 kip to 20,000kip. Luckily, she doesn\u2019t have to do any marketing for her eggs because\u00a0many traders come directly to her farm to buy the eggs.\u00a0Moreover, the dung from the chickens can be sold for making fertiliser.<\/p>\n
