The species resembles\u00a0<em>Paraboea bintangensis<\/em>,\u00a0<em>P. prazeri<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>P. robusta<\/em>, but differs in leaf shape and floral features, especially corolla shape and size, the interior of the corolla tube, and capsule characters.
