Pickle bamboo shoot stew with frog

Bamboo can make as many version for serving such as fermented bamboo shoot

Ingredients

  • 2 frogs
  • 1 cup for pickle bamboo shoot
  • 3 stalks for spring onion
  • 1 small bunch for dill
  • 1 small bunch for basil
  • 4-5 chilies or more
  • 1 head for garlic
  • 2 stalks for lemon grass
  • 1 cup for soaked sticky rice (pound)
  • 1/2 table spoons for salt 

For 2 bowls

Method)

  • cleaning the frog, then cut into piece (any size)
  • heat the pot
  • grill chilies and garlic for fragrant 
  • bruised lemon grass and chilies to put into the pot, following up by the pickle bamboo shoot (cleaning the pickle bamboo shoot for 2-3 time by the water ), boiled it for 10 minutes
  • put frog, then wait for awhile for put soaked sticky rice (boil for 10 minutes)
  • add basil and dill, covered for 2-3 minutes
  • add spring onion and close the fire on stove. transfer to the bowl for serving
