Pieng Teiy

In the past, people use this dish instead of stock powder. Moreover, it can be roasted to make sauce (Jeow)

Preparation
  •  Boiled soybean (Twice)
  •  Bake soybean by putting to the bamboo bracket, covered by banana leaves, 
  •  Leave it 3-4 days until soybean turned to white color

Ingredient

  • 1 bowl of soybean
  • 1 tablespoon for salt
  • 3 stalks for lemongrass, bruise and chopped
  • 3-4 dry chilies or big chilies

Method
  1.  Add soybean, salt, lemongrass, Dry chilis or big chilis, pound together following up by a cup of soybean
  2.  Make circle print box by bamboo
  3.  Bring cooked soybean to the box, make flat shape by spoon
  4.  Remove from the print box, then dry under the sun till color turned to red
