Three new records of Curcuma subgen. Ecomatae (Zingiberaceae: Zingibereae) for the flora of Laos
Three species of Curcuma subgen. Ecomatae, Curcuma bicolor, C. nakhonphanomensis and C. rubroaurantiaca, are newly recorded for the flora of Laos. Descriptions and colour plates, as well as notes on ecology and phenology, are provided for all three species. In addition, a key to species of Curcuma subgen. Ecomatae in Laos is also provided.
An annotated checklist of Strobilanthes (Acanthaceae) from the Bolaven Plateau, southern Laos
Eleven species of Strobilanthes (Acanthaceae) are recorded from the Bolaven Plateau in southern Laos. A key to the species, photographs, vernacular names, taxonomic notes and information on distributions, habitat and phenology, are provided. In addition, two species (S. dalzielii and S. glaucescens) are lectotypified.

Two new records of Lasianthus (Rubiaceae) for the Flora of Laos
Two species of Lasianthus Jack (Rubiaceae), viz. L. biflorus (Blume) M.Gangop. & Chakrab. and L. hispidulus (Drake) Pit., from Nam Kading National Protected Area in central Laos, are reported as new records for the Flora of Laos. Taxonomic description, habitat, distribution, voucher specimens, and color photographs are provided for each species.

A new species of Gomphandra, G. laotica Soulad., V.S.Dang & Tagane (Stemonuraceae) is described from central Laos. It is characterized by its capitate inflorescences, 7–12 pairs of secondary veins, densely strigillose petioles, and glabrous stamens, by which combination it is clearly distinguished from the other species of Gomphandra in the region
