Lao Musutake Jeow (Jeow Het Waiy)

Jeow Het Waiy is often served with hot streamed sticky rice

Ingredients

  • 5 Lao Musutake
  • 8 green chilies
  • 5 spring onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon for salt

Method

  • clean and refresh Lao musutake
  • grill Lao musutake, chilies and spring onion ( it will take longer time for grilling Lao musutake, around 10-20 minutes)
  • cut Lao musutake into small pieces for comfortable while pounding
  • add salt, chilies and Lao musutake to the mortar for pounding
  • add spring onion and pound again
  • taste and adjust
  • transfer to the bowl for serving
