Bitter bamboo shoot Jeow (Jeow Naw Khom)

Serve with stream vegetable, eggplant, etc.

Ingredients
  •  3 small or one big, bitter bamboo shoot
  •  1 onion
  •  3 cloves, garlic
  •  2 stalks, coriander 
  •  3 red or green chilies
  •  ½ teaspoon for salt
  •  ½ teaspoon for stock powder
For 2-3 small bowl

Method 
  1.  Prepare bamboo shoot
  2.  Roast bamboo shoot, garlic, onion and chilies (spend more time to roast bamboo shoot till black peel)
  3.  Put roasted garlic, onion and chilies into the mortar, add salt with stock powder, pound
  4.  Slice roasted bamboo shoot, small pieces
  5.  Add bamboo shoot to the mortar, pound with all ingredients
  6.  Add coriander and pound again
  7.  Taste and adjust
  8.  Transfer to the bowl
