Opportunity: Promoting partnerships for expanding Agrobiodiversity content on PKL website
Specific Responsibilities:
Identify organizations and private sector actors who are involved in Agrobiodiversity-related programs, products and/or food and the resources they have which are valuable for PKL.
Identify key people within agro-biodiversity related organizations and engage them in providing information on their work, documentation, and interests into the PKL website on a regular basis.
Regularly meet with key people in key organizations to update information and promote PKL
Undertake literature searches in English and Lao languages to collect relevant information for PKL focal species for incorporation into PKL.
Assist with compiling data into the PKL database online
Undertake research and fieldwork to gather information on priority species to post on PKL
Translate academic information into people-friendly information to help more people understand agrobiodiversity
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environment Science, Agriculture, Forestry management and relative.
Available to work Full-time and travel to the province
Computer skills: good Microsoft office, basic photoshop
Good communication skills
