Soulisa Kommasith began developing her coffee business as a continuation of her family’s coffee-growing activities. Previously, her family primarily produced coffee beans and sold them to traders. To develop coffee processing skills, Soulisa studied coffee roasting through online resources and later travelled to Vietnam to learn about coffee processing. She then applied this knowledge to produce coffee locally.
Soulisa also focused on reducing the use of chemical inputs and promoting safer production practices for farmers and consumers. She learned how to produce and use organic fertilizers and developed farming practices based on her own experience. She also sought technical advice from the Southern Agricultural Research Center.
In 2022, Soulisa began producing the organic coffee brand Paksong Daen Naow. In 2025, her business was officially registered. The enterprise currently produces roasted and ground organic coffee with beans from its own farm. The enterprise also offers natural honey and tea sourced from local communities.
Through these activities, Soulisa contributes to the production and processing of local agricultural products while also creating market opportunities for products from local communities.
